Legal drafting is the crystallization and expression in definitive form of a legal right, privilege, function, duty or status. A power of attorney includes an instrument empowering a specified person to act for and in the name of the person executing it. It is always kept by the attorney. It may be either general or special, i.e., to do all acts or to do some particular act. The process of drafting operates in two planes, viz conceptual and verbal. Besides seeking the right words draftsman seeks the right concepts, effective drafting in right thinking and right composing.
