Answer & Explanation:

(i) Free Float: 'Free float' is a term used in stock trading to describe the proportion of shares of a publicly traded company that are readily available for trading in the stock market. It represents the shares that are not held by promoters, governments, strategic investors, or other locked-in entities, and are thus available for public trading. Note that not all free float shares may be actively circulating on the market at any given time as many traders purchase shares as a long-term investment. (ii) Free-float Market Capitalisation: Free-float market capitalisation takes into consideration only those shares issued by the company that are readily available for trading in the market. It generally excludes: Promoters' holding Government holding Strategic holding Other locked-in shares that will not come to the market for trading in the normal course. In other words, the market capitalisation of each company in a Free-float index is reduced to the extent of its readily available shares in the market. It is calculated by multiplying the free float shares by the current market price per share.
