An owner selects the agent to work in good faith to protect their interest and remain faithful to their goals. Who do you think are the agents and owners in modern organisations?
Answer & Explanation:
In modern organisations, the shareholders are the owners of the organisations. The owners set the central objectives of the corporation. Managers who are responsible for carrying out these objectives in day-to-day work of the company are 'Agents' of the corporation. The owners authorise the managers to act as 'Agents' and a contract between owner/principal and agent is made. The agent should act in good faith. He should protect the interest of the principal and should remain faithful to the goals.
