Explain an integrated approach for development of MIS.
Answer & Explanation:
An integrated approach permits managers at all levels to influence the design of the system. Top management identifies the structure and design of MIS suitable for the concerned department. This design is then presented to lower-level management for their views and modifications. Lower management is allowed to suggest changes, additions, or deletions and return the design with their suggestions to the top level for approval. The revised design is drawn, evaluated by top management, and sent down again in a modified form for further consideration if required. This is an iterative process that continues until a final design is achieved, satisfying requirements at all levels in the organization.
