Answer & Explanation:

Calling of Annual General Meeting (AGM) of a company is governed by the provisions contained in Section 96 of the Companies Act, 2013. Accordingly, AGM can be called during business hours, that is, between 9 A.M. and 6 P.M. on any day that is not a National Holiday. It should be held either at the registered office of the company or at some other place within the city, town or village in which the registered office of the company is situated. Further it is provided that the Central Government may exempt any company from the aforesaid provisions subject to such conditions as it may impose. Hence in the given case the AGM of the Company shall be held in Chennai where the registered office of the Company is situated however the meeting may be held in Paris subject to exemption granted from the Central Government.
