Importance of Appeal In an ideal world, a trial decides justice equitably and fairly in accordance with the law. In most cases, this is exactly what happens, but occasionally, a judge or adjudicating authority for whatever reason, makes a mistake or even a serious mistake that results in the miscarriage of justice. Nevertheless, the law also gives a right or rather vests in the aggrieved party a right to appeal to a higher authority to hear the grievance and consider the matter and look into it for re-consideration. Right of appeal is available in all laws and Corporate Laws are no exception. The Companies Act, 2013, Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999, SEBI Laws, Taxation laws etc. all provide for the right of appeal against the order passed.
