As per Rule 25A of the Companies (Incorporation) Rules, 2014, every Company incorporated on or before December 31, 2017 is required to file the particulars of the Company and its registered office, in E-Form ACTIVE (Active Company Tagging Identities and Verification) on or before June 15, 2019. However, following companies are exempted for filing e-Form ACTIVE: Companies which have been struck off Companies under process of striking off Companies under liquidation Companies which are amalgamated or dissolved Further, any company which has not filed its due financial statements under section 137 of the Companies Act, 2013 or due Annual Returns under Section 92 of the Companies Act, 2013 or both with the Registrar of Companies shall be restricted from filing e-Form-ACTIVE, unless such company is under management dispute and the Registrar has recorded the same on the register. As the Company was incorporated as Government Company after December 31, 2017, hence, there is no need to file e-form ACTIVE for such companies.
